The burgeoning cellular telephone industry generates continual needs for antenna sites on water tanks. And for tank owners, this can mean a healthy revenue stream. But you also need protection from both unscrupulous negotiators and improper installations.

Our priorities are your priorities:

  • Protect the tank’s structural integrity.

  • Correct safety hazards resulting from improper installations.

  • Minimize the antenna’s impact on tank maintenance costs.
    • Apply correct standards to new installations.
    • Retrofit improper installations to meet standards.
  • Design systems with aesthetic appeal.

  • Market and manage tanks for maximum revenue.
            • Seek multiple carriers for each tank.
            • Negotiate favorable leasing terms.
            • Manage site re terms of agreement(s).

We started Utility Service Communications (USC) as a result of our experience in maintaining tanks together with first hand knowledge of the problems improper antenna installations can create—along with our understanding of the importance of OSHA requirement safety measures.

Our concern is for the tank and for the tank owner. Any ancillary structure mounted on a water tank—such as an antenna—should not interfere with the tank’s main purpose of supplying water to the community.

Additionally, antennas should not interfere with maintenance or present safety hazards to those providing maintenance services.
